Yearly planning for musicians
Start the year 2024 with confidence and energy!
As the end of the year approaches, we keep coming across articles and workshops encouraging yearly evaluation. Before the squirrel wheel grinds us down again, it’s worth stopping for a while, looking at the past 365 days and taking stock of the plans for the next year. Even when there is a lot of change and uncertainty around us and in us.
We would like to help you in this with our Yearly Planning for Musicians program. In it, we combined countless productivity and planning methods and practices, specifically taking into account the specifics of the musical career. We invite you to a creative, efficient, self-awareness-building joint journey, during which we weave plans and work out steps in your musical career, according to your needs, but we also place emphasis on balancing areas beyond music as well.
What will happen?
- a workbook will be sent in advance (you will receive it immediately after your application – on 2 January at the earliest);
- a one-hour personalized conversation on the issues of your choice;
- reviewing and evaluating the past 12 months;
- determining the most important objectives for 2024;
- organizing and scheduling the necessary steps leading to your goals;
- finding the right time management techniques for you;
- many, many additional tasks during the conversation;
- in June, a short follow-up conversation to review your progress.

What do participants say?
I can confidently recommend the ‘Year planning for musicians’ program! As a young performer, it is very important to be able to evaluate the activities of the previous year and set specific goals for the coming year. The workbook belonging to the program, which is also a little self-knowledge book, is of great help in this. For me, the annual planning discussion was a reliable point of reference even during the more difficult professional periods of the year.

The ability to adapt to unexpected situations, to improvise, to suddenly find a solution is inherent in the performing arts career. That is why it is especially important to set benchmarks in order to achieve our goals, which we can reach sooner or later, even if not on a straight path. The Year Planner program helps with this: we can organize our thoughts, short- and long-term plans in both our professional and everyday lives. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone for whom it is important to find balance on this wonderful, but often unpredictable course.

The yearly planner program helps you structure your time, allowing you to be more organized and efficient. It helped me set priorities, set goals and track them. Last but not least, it helps you not to forget important deadlines or events. It was very useful for me and the planning with Eszter was easy and in a good mood. Here, a personalized individual plan can be prepared for everyone, where not only professional but also mental needs are taken into account.
Luca Csörgeő,
opera singer
Most useful for me was that I got a realistic picture of the differences between the Hungarian and foreign music industries, since it is difficult to see them from home. Therefore, it helped a lot in the internationalization of my production that will happen in 2024. Another thing, which I think is very important, is that these occasions helped me collect and organize tasks and goals, so my head was cleared a lot after each occasion.

composer
